Pinot Noir
The wine-grower partner : Domaine Girard
Since four generations, the Girard family work with passion a small Domaine of thirty hectares located on the oceanic side of the Malepère Valley. The geographic situation of the vineyard permits Atlantic influences to balance the main mediterranean aspects of the climate.
The wine and its terroir
We had a heart-stroke for this Pinot Noir produced in a very sustainable approach, without the use of any herbicide on the vineyard. It comes from a thirty years old parcel witch grows on a clay-loam soil, which is very permeable to water. From a manual harvest, this very fresh wine develops fruity aromas full of elegance.
